It's not easy to get people out to these local functions, though, when they haven't heard of the performer before. If a known "name" comes, the hall is full, but otherwise, house concert audiences usually remain small. I don't mind that, but am sure the performer would prefer a larger crowd after they've travelled out here. Anyway, we never hear them complain ...
