51 Years

Happy Birthday to me.

As you can see, I'm as old as my years— look at the string on my glasses.

Thinking about Mom today, thanking her and Dad. Life's been very good to me. I've been fortunate in my family and friends, blessed with children, and had the luxury of living in a peaceable land.

  1. Good thoughts on a significant birthday. I personally think that is the picture of a strong and confident woman who takes precautions against losing her reading glasses---and it's ageless.

    Happy birthday.

  2. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday, all the best for a wonderful year. I agree 100% with Lorna you look smashing. I've got eye glasses stashed in corners, pockets purses and cars, thank goodness for the Costco mulitpack. Hope you have something special planned in your honor.

  4. Thank you, ladies.
It's not that I lose my reading glasses. Without the string, I push them up onto my head and then when I need them, they've got hair stuck in the hinges and that hurts!
