Where our road joins the correction line

I long for her so often, feel the urge to pick up the phone and call. It only lasts a few moments, and I go on about my day. It's a natural missing of someone so dear that I haven’t seen in five years and don’t expect to see in the next five either. I hate that part so much, it almost makes me grit my teeth.

  1. I SO understand your feeling---I often have the same impulse to call my mother who died four years ago, and who is so often on my mind.

  2. This is how I miss my daughter, who passed on twelve years ago. And I do grit my teeth, Kate...I so know what you mean by that. Just one more phone call...

I love the photos of your property. You have actually captured the vastness...I have trouble doing that with my camera. The photos just never show how truly long and vast the horizon is here, as well.
