On your behalf, I have been through another half-dozen YouTube pages of Beautiful Star of Bethlehem performances, and been unable to find one I wanted to listen to until the end. Sometimes it's just poor recording quality. Other times, it's ... well ... what are people thinking? What I mean is, why do they want it filmed? And why do they want to do it in front of others?
I've just slogged through 5 hours of toil in the workaday world and it's nearly 3:30, well past time a girl needs to get some fresh air and Vitamin D. So out I go.

ReplyDeleteHi Teresa. Don't be fooled ... I don't even know what Christmas spirit IS. No tree here, without Everett home to put it up and hang the decorations. Emil was asking about our string of flashing coloured lights, just last night: do we still have them? I should dig them out and find a place to hang them, for his sake.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the tune of Beautiful Star of Bethlehem from one day to another, so the posts have been a delight. As a rule though, I like the songs and hymns that I learned as a kid---the words and music are stuck somewhere in my brain and just trot their latin selves out at whim.
