A relaxed morning.
Sheets are in the dryer.
Roomba has run around the floor.
Dishes are done.
I've been for my walk.
Pleasantly surprised to reach the road and see that some leaves have popped out overnight. |
It's not that warm out, as a matter of fact the wind is still cool, but Jenna goes wading anyway. |
More delights as snow geese pass overhead. |
See the baby brontosaurus across the pasture? I often wonder, seeing it, what it would be like to go for a walk in dinosaur days. You'd stick to the trees, wouldn't you! |
Next! Off to town to pick up a bundle of fresh flowers and something to make for supper. Bev is coming over so I want to make something special. Heaven knows what; I'm hoping for inspiration from the store shelves.
Love the geese!
ReplyDeleteRoomba, would you recommend it? I think about it from time to time, it sure seems like a good deal, not dragging the vacuum around the house.
I would, Maggie. It doesn't get into all the corners as good as you would with a standard vacuum cleaner, and it takes longer -- I like to go for a walk when it's running -- but it beats dragging a noisy thing around. Also you spend some time cleaning the brush and roller; still better than dragging a noisy thing around.
DeleteHi. I'm here. *waving* from a mountain in Tennessee. I live alone in a big woods on a mountain.
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung where I live. This is the first time I've noticed that spring unfurls from the bottom to the top. Ground cover and lower bushes leafed weeks ago. It's just now that the tree tops are starting to dust the Cumberland Plateau with pollen.
Your place sounds lovely!
