What is this Plant?

It is fairly common; it is hearty as hell; and I used to know its name, and now don't remember.

Can anyone remind me?

  1. It is a False Spirea. I have two of them in bloom now. Very pretty.

  2. Could it be astilbe, possibly "snowdrift"? That was the name which came to mind, and I googled some pictures which look similar.

  3. I've had astilbe, the perennial flower, and this isn't it. This is a bush -- false spirea sounds right. Thanks for your help, all!
