Looks like Mom didn't think we had too many sunny days in winter.
Actually it is a cloudy day and I took these just now with a lamp on nearby as well as the overhead light.

    Quilting, to me, is one of the most amazing art forms. And it IS an art form! I'm hoping, before I totally lose my eyesight and ability to use my hands, that it's something I become proficient at.
